Artist Introduction:

Tang Qingyan,born in spring after 1980,Master of four studios of Oil painting department,CAFA. Presently teach at the Central Academy of Fine Art.

The brushwork of Qing Yan’s art unfold a “strong”feeling of down to earth clearly.Such kind of temperament let me associate the poem of Zhu Peixuan——“Just being discrete my footsteps in pairs,/ I will tread gradually on the soil,/leave deep footprints……”

Ye Shengtao sincerely feel that we should “cherish the current life” before 80years.Now,our “now” is live in greenhouse. It can make the strawberry more red and the cucumber more green, and we can get the vegetables in all year.However, no seasonal fruits and vegetables, but also had no hope, not a hope would be less happy!Depend on the unseasonal vegetables,we lost the understanding of spring/summer/autumn and winter,it seems logical,thank to the art of Qing Yan. Excellent art can give us the sense of presence, Qing Yan give us the presence sense of spring！

The art of Qing Yan is not grow in greenhouse,more than chain-like standardization volume production, each work is the experience of single life ,which realize “the present” be framed amply……

In the bloomy spring season of 2010,for Qingyan,a girl who born in spring, exhibit in honest threadgallery,is happiness……
