对话
中西方的绘画艺术
《对话》这场展览将中国杭州和北京木版画家以及欧洲和美国的艺术作品集与一体，包含极其不同的年龄组、相异的文化背景、风格和表现方式！作品相同的地方在于艺术家对表现方式的追逐和需求。
无论在西方或是东方，如同欧洲典型的蚀刻版画、铜板雕刻和石印术一样，中国木版画已演变非同寻常，而同时具有独立性和非独立性双重特点的艺术形式。在这场展览中，我们将有幸欣赏到来自中国木版画中心杭州的版画作品，以及来自于瑞典、法国和美国的蚀刻版画作品。
《对话》是现今的风尚：艺术家不仅仅奉献而且索取。

DIALOGUE
Graphic art from East and West
Dialogue is an exhibition featuring Chinese woodblock artists from Hangzhou and Beijing as well as other graphic expressions from Europe and the US. Difference of age, cultural background, style and expression, indeed! The common ground is the artistic need of expression.
The Chinese woodblock prints has, together with etchings, dry point and lithography, which are typical European graphic forms, developed into a very different and both dependent and interdependent art form in both the East and the West. In the show we meet a handful of masters from not least Hangzhou, the center of woodblock print art in China, as well as etchers from Sweden, France and the US.
Dialogue is the word of the day: the artists both gives and takes.
