1978
11月28日，出生于内蒙古赤峰市翁牛特旗。
1987
在父亲的影响下开始画速写，临摹连环画。
1998
考入哈尔滨师范大学艺术学院。
2001
在哈尔滨师范大学美术馆举办“视觉发言权”个人作品展，展出实验影像作品共39件。
2002
“黑龙江省首届实验艺术展”。展出个人实验影像作品20余件。
2004
持续创作《新山海经图》60余幅。在报刊上连续发表独幅漫画。
2004
《新山海经图》入选全国第十届美术作品展。
2005
研究儿童绘画，进行实验彩墨“成熟的天真”系列的创作。
2006
拍摄“渺小的崇高”系列摄影作品。写出“渺小的崇高——另一种方式的讲述”书稿。
2007
参与创办《当代艺术》杂志，任执行主编、执行主编。
2008
策划第二届五四国际青年艺术节。
2009
策划的五四青年艺术节798巡回展在亚洲艺术中心开幕。
创作完成装置作品“黄金三部曲”，分别为《一毛钱金币》、《黄金粪》、《我们总会发光的》,创作图片作品《种族问题存在吗？》、《灰色文化》。
2009
11月，在百年印象画廊举办个展《渺小的崇高——房圣易摄影作品展》。

A Chronology of Fang Shengyi
1978
Born in Ongniod Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia.
1987
Under the influence of his father, Fang began to draw sketches and copy comic strips.
1998
Enrolled in the Fine Arts School of Harbin Normal University.
2001
"Visual Voice" — Solo exhibition in the Art Museum of Harbin Normal University, showing 39 experimental works of image and video.
2002
The First Experimental Art Exhibition in Heilongjiang Province, displaying more than 20 pieces of experimental video works by him.
2004
Simultaneously created the continuous series more than 60 pieces of the " New Shan Hai Jing Charts". Published single cartoons in newspapers and periodicals in succession.
2004
"New Shan Hai Jing Charts" selected for the Tenth National Art Exhibition.
2005
Began to study and create experimental ink and color painting related to children's painting, wrote manuscript of "Mature Naive".
2006
Began taking pictures of the "Tiny Sublimity" series of photographs in his own yard, finished the manuscript of " Tiny Sublimity: Another Form of Talk,".

Co-founded "Contemporary Art" magazine, served as executive editor and editor in chief.

Curator of the 2nd “May 4th International Youth Arts Festival”.
In July, the touring exhibition of May 4th Youth Arts Festival was held at the Asian Art Center in 798 art zone. Fang completed installation works of "Gold Trilogy", namely "Gold Coin of One-dime," "Gold Excrement" and "We Always Shine." Created images of "Does racial discrimination exist ?" and "Gray Culture"
