艺术中国讯 据国外媒体报道，美国著名摇滚乐队Stone Temple Pilots（石庙向导）主唱Scott Weiland（斯科特·韦兰德）近日宣布，他即将推出一张全新的翻唱专辑。
这张翻唱专辑命名为A Compilation Of Scott Weiland Cover Songs（Scott Weiland翻唱歌曲大全），收录了这位前Velvet Revolver（丝绒手枪）主唱的12首翻唱曲目，包括The Stone Roses（石玫瑰）的I Am The Resurrection，Nirvana（涅磐）的Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle，以及The Smiths乐队的经典曲目Reel Around The Fountain。
这张翻唱专辑只做数字发行，除了收录上述曲目外，还包括两首翻唱David Bowie（大卫·鲍伊）的曲目，以及翻唱自New YorkDolls（纽约妞）、Radiohead（电台司令）、The Rolling Stones（滚石）,、The Flaming Lips（燃烧的唇）和Depeche Mode（赶时髦）等乐队的经典作品。
在接受采访时Scott Weiland表示，在今年年初他的回忆录Not Dead & Not For Sale发行后，他将进棚录制自己的第三张个人专辑。（编译/李翔）
