东京画廊+BTAP｜北京将举办由11位年轻日本艺术家作品组成的群展。
自从1950年开馆以来,东京画廊＋BTAP在密切关注着世界现代艺术诸多动向的同时,也不断地发掘和介绍艺术家。
而后,东京画廊于2002年在北京大山子798艺术区成立了北京东京艺术工程[BTAP],亲身感受到了前所未有的亚洲艺术热潮。近年,中国作为这股热潮的中心之一,依旧持续着其火爆之势。同时,东京画廊+BTAP也被中国以外的亚洲各国的艺术市场寄予了很高的关注及期待。
东京画廊+BTAP认为此情况对于探索今后日本的艺术市场是一个重要的里程碑,所以在当今世界瞩目的北京,以东京画廊+BTAP为据点,将全心尽力进行艺术创作的日本艺术家的作品展示一堂。此次展览,在50年代建造的面积约400平方米、高10米的原国营798工厂的厂房内展出。
参展艺术家为荒木省三、东亭顺、大卷伸嗣、金田胜一、北川宏人、栗原一成、西泽千晴、古家万、松浦浩之、渡边阳平、吉田晓子共11位。

Tokyo Gallery + BTAP announces the opening of 'Milestones', and exhibition of 11 emerging Japanese artists.
Since 1950, Tokyo Gallery + BTAP has born witness to the many varied art trends that have emerged around the world, consistently seeking out and introducing new artistic talent. Then in 2002 the gallery opened BTAP in the Dashanzi 798 area, Beijing, keeping us in close proximity to the Asian art scene just as it has faced a period of unprecedented prosperity. In recent years, while maintaining a sense of the success of China's art scene, which remains at the heart of this activity, we can also attest to a sincere interest and anticipation held for the many other art scenes in Asia.
Considering this an important 'milestone' when looking to the future of Japan's art scene, Tokyo Gallery + BTAP has selected the work of 11 artists-each with a vigorous practice and experience at Tokyo Gallery + BTAP-for exhibition in Beijing, a city which currently enjoys the world's attention. This exhibition will be centred on large scale works, making full use of the gallery's 400 square metre space with 10 metre high ceiling, renovated from the formerly state-run factories built in the 1950s.
Exhibiting artists include: Araki Shozo, Azumatei Jun, Ohmaki Shinji, Kaneda Showichi, Kitagawa Hiroto, Kurihara Issei, Nishizawa Chiharu, Furuya Man, Matsuura Hiroyuki, Watanabe Yohei and Yoshida Gyoko.
