张元是中国著名的电影导演，他在UCCA的中央甬道展示他的摄影和视频作品。“有种”是源于对在北京这座独特城市中的年轻一代的叛逆和创造力进行精神谱系调查的想法而开展的计划。张元这位以其独一无二的实验电影享誉国内外的导演，通过和生活在北京的文化青年进行访问和交流来了解和倾听他们的故事。
