近日，摩登天空推出了一张由全球44组知名音乐人参与其中的公益合辑唱片《Sing For
China》，全部收益将捐献给“中国艾滋病孤儿基金会”(CAOF)。摩登天空创始人沈黎晖特邀约翰列侬遗孀、著名音乐家小野洋子(Yoko
Ono)参与其中，并为本合辑专门创作并录制了一支全新单曲《We Are Dying》。
2007年初，沈黎晖携手张亚东、方文山共同发起了旨在以音乐和爱的力量帮助失聪儿童重返有声世界的“回声”慈善行动，并由此发起“回声”儿童基金。沈黎晖曾经说过：“我们一直活在自己的世界里，过去觉得慈善还离我很远，但是行动是最重要的。身为音乐人，我应该为那些需要帮助的人做点什么，希望现在开始做这些不会太晚。”2008年，沈黎晖决定邀请全球知名音乐家制作一张旨在为中国的艾滋病孤儿提供更多协助的《Sing
For
China》合辑，得到小野洋子在内的众多音乐家的响应，并最终历时近两年时间完成。上次沈黎晖去纽约的时候，76岁的小野洋子正在录音棚录制这首《We
Are Dying》。
“Sing For
China”，是由摩登天空和美国公益组织“中国艾滋病孤儿基金会”(CAOF)合作的一项公益计划，旨在为中国的艾滋病孤儿提供教育、宣传、医疗以及更多协助。《Sing
For China》合辑是一项跨越国界的合作，是一次文化影响社会的公益之举，这张3CD合辑唱片历时两年时间制作完成，集结了Yoko
Ono、Deerhoof、Cold Cut、Ratatat、The Apples In
Stereo、新裤子、后海大鲨鱼等44组全球不同国家的著名摇滚、电子音乐家跨国界合作。而专辑所得收入将全部捐献给“中国艾滋病孤儿基金会”。无论是从《Sing
For China》所收录曲目的音乐性，还是从其社会意义来看，这都将是一套会留在历史上的合辑唱片。
沈黎晖表示，感谢所有参与这张公益唱片的全球44组音乐家，并特意感谢了摩登天空美国公司经理Michael J.
LoJudice为这张唱片所作出的努力。据“中国艾滋病孤儿基金会”(CAOF)表示，“HIV/AIDS是毁灭性的疾病。没有了治疗，被感染人只能毫无抵抗地承受缓慢而痛苦的死亡，同时，在中国，病人还要背负让人痛苦的耻辱。《Sing
For China》项目致力于：1、为HIV/AIDS筹取基金；2、在中国宣传对艾滋病人的宽容与耐心。”
