“偶的嘉年华”是艺术家杨静的首次个展。

这次北京上海的巡回展览，给期待已久的观众带来难得的一次机会，可以比较完整地看到艺术家杨静近几年的重要作品。杨静极其着重内心世界的探索，作品中频频出现的人形，是她用来表现这些不同的感受和人生经历的演员。她的作品充满着各种象征意义的物件，每一张画作都讲述着一个不同世界的的不同故事。

自杨静从中央美术学院毕业以来，已经在北京、上海、香港、伦敦、纽约、迈阿密、马德里和首尔的画廊、博览会和美术馆多次参加展览。

杨静也是N12小组的一员，他们是12个一起毕业于中央美术学院的艺术家，最初只是一起展出，继而每一个成员都在国际当代艺术圈取得了一定的成就，至今仍然定期做N12展览。杨静是现今生活在中国的最重要的年轻艺术家之一。

“My Carnival” is the debut solo show for the artist Yang Jing.

This touring show from Beijing to Shanghai finally gives the opportunity to view the culmination of Yang Jing’s work from the past four years. The reoccurring theme of the mannequin is an artistic device to explore and develop many different stories. Her artwork is loaded with symbolism and meaning, each painting telling a well crafted story.

Since graduating from the Central Academy of Fine Art Beijing she has had great success in exhibiting in museums and galleries in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London, New York, Miami, Madrid and Seoul.

She is part of the N12 collective which is a group of 12 graduates from the Central Academy, initially they exhibited together but have since gone on to prominence globally but still exhibit together once a year. Yang Jing is one of the most important young artists’ currently working in China today.
