中国著名室内设计师、生活艺术家、千岛湖岛主。1987年毕业于中国美术学院首届环艺系。一直为中国行业学会领军人物，无论对一直钻研的文化空间，还是对高度商业性空间，皆能自觉保持一份强烈的设计职业特性。他以独特的视点和空间创意建立自己的设计哲学，作品擅长平衡商业和文化艺术两个反差点。用最少的装饰符号、最自然的设计元素，将光线、色彩、声音和空间建构一个个不同的场所精神。从业30年，成功跨界于空间、陈设、装置、影像、文化艺术传播。获奖殊荣与赞誉无数：十大最具影响力华人设计师、十届中国室内设计大赛七次一等奖得主、AD100中国榜单得主、2010年与隈研吾、伊东丰雄等同获“亚洲五十摩登绅士”……他被称为“当代文化艺术空间设计的代言人”、“最出色的名人纪念馆设计师”、“中国跨界演绎精彩的明星设计师”，以拥有十年的南宋古院和千岛湖小岛放养生活，成就了“室内设计界的抒情诗人”的称号。

Chinese famous designer. Lifestyle Artist. Owner of QiandaoLake. Yaoguang Chen is the graduate of the first grading class of environmental art major at China Academy of Art in 1987. He has been playing a leading role in professional association. Either in his dedicated art space or in highly commercialized space, he always keeps the strong design professionalism. With unique visual and spatial design philosophy, he has managed his works between the two extremities of art and commerce. With the least of decorative symbols, the most natural design projects, construct various spaces of light, color, sound and space.During 30 years working experiences, he successfully involved in space, display, device, vision and cultural communication.
